Our Software Quality Engineering team ensures that our next-generation software is of the highest quality. We conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that our software meets or exceeds end-user requirements. We debug software products, oversee the development of test plans, ensure system tests are documented, analyze the results, provide feedback to developers and make sure that all problems are resolved. We also select testing specifications for new products and ensure testing procedures comply with industry-specific standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Involved in Qualification of Dell/EMC VMAX and PowerMax All Flash Storage Arrays.
  • Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Automation
  • Executing Functional & Regression testing
  • Identifying defects in early stages by providing debug information, thereby enabling developers toidentify the root cause of the issue.
  • In addition the candidate should exhibit ability to quickly adapt to the Qualification Test Process and learn new and complex topics.


Essential Requirements

o   Exposure to and familiarity with test automation procedures

oSoftware development expertise from a coding perspective. This is required for building test automation. Contribute to test automation activities through knowledge of coding/programming in current languages.

oGeneral knowledge of the design, implementation, and maintenance of a test environment, including necessary equipment, configuration, and software. Complete tasks & assignments with direction.

oBasic computer knowledge, limited use and/or application of basic engineering principles, concepts and theories. Demonstrated written & verbal communication skills. Analytical, problem solving skills, ability to learn and apply new tools & applications.

oUse tools appropriately with technical guidance, seek assistance when needed.

oGood Communication skills.

oProficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments.


Desirable Requirements

oGeneral knowledge of one mainstream language, (preferred proficiency in C, C++, or JAVA).

oB.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. 2-5 yrs minimum experience required, preferably in Storage and Software testing

oFamiliarity with scripting language, Perl or Python; general knowledge of specification documents (hardware, software or network).

oKnowledge on basics of Storage/System/Network domain would be an added advantage.

oFamiliarity with PCIe protocols, NVMe and SAS based Nand technology (solid state drives.)
