What are you going to do:
Easy Food is Ireland's No. 1 selling food magazine and our online properties are growing at astonishing rates. We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Intern to join our expanding team. You will join a wide team that loves talking about food, supports Irish food producers and creates and styles food content for print and digital platforms.
You must understand the importance of keeping to brand guidelines and have a real understanding of the value and importance of professional social media.
You are a team player, creative and organised.
Job Description
Easy Food's Social Media Intern will contribute to the ideas, design, development and scheduling of our Easy Food social media channels.
Social Media Duties:
- Post to Easy Food's social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram, in adherence to our Social Posting Calendar.
- Respond to queries on social media, passing on any relevant information to the team member responsible. Like and engage with relevant content from our followers and clients.
- Create dynamic written, graphics and video content targeted to each channels audience.
- Create social content that promotes audience interaction on social media, increases traffic to Easy Food's website and encourages community participation.
- Assist the Easy Food team with large projects and events in relation to social media; i.e., taking photos at events, Instagram stories, Facebook Live, etc.
- With the wider team, help analyse and report audience information and demographics, as well as the success of existing social media projects every month.
- Propose and test new ideas and concepts for social media content.
Skills/ Qualifications:
Marketing or Social Media Marketing Qualification, Graphic Design, Teamwork, Self-Motivation, Strong Communication Skills, Networking, Idea Presentation, SEO, Proofreading, Enthusiasm, Detail-Oriented.
The successful candidate ideally has:
- Experience working in social media for your own blog, community pages or a website.
- A proven track record of building engagement with a social audience through a range of social media platforms.
- A passion and love for all things social.
- Experience of utilising social media management tools, e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer.
- A flair for writing and communication.
- You keep up to date with changing social trends and algorithm updates.
