When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Material Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Continuity of Supply.
  • Manage the supply-chain manufacturing cycle time/lead time for your commodities.
  • Manage demand sensing and demand shaping solutions.
  • Monitor forecast versus actual bookings and make adjustments as required.
  • Provide options for part shortages & supply-chain challenges.
  • Communicate forecasting issues to appropriate groups and ensure revisions are made to forecast within the specified time.
  • Supply-chain reporting and planning metrics management.


Essential Requirements

  • Energy and enthusiasm for delivering to commitments as part of a global supply-chain team..
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel. An awareness of supply-chain planning/reporting systems is a distinct advantage (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English) with good opportunities to present to management teams.
  • Is able to work autonomously with considerable latitude to meet and beat the objectives of the role.  
  • Ability to identify and manage planning process improvements.
  • Good business acumen skills.  Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Educated to degree level preferably in Business, Engineering or Operations Management.  1-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain including relevant experience in supply-chain, distribution, planning and forecasting.

  • Analaytics Skillset - Tableau. Power BI
  • Excellent Technical and Product Knowledge
  • Automation / AI (RPA) skillset
