Innovative projects that deliver cutting edge results do not run themselves. Project and Program Management within Business Support ensure projects run seamlessly, from start to finish. Our team manages projects or leads others managing projects — ensuring cross-functional teams work collaboratively and effectively. We oversee initial plans, set budgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The Digital Programs Advisor will manage the introduction & ongoing sustainability – both features and content - of the various digital assets of the Dell EMC Campus. Collaborating on a daily basis with multiple stakeholders (IT, Solutions teams, and Campus Marketing/Communications) the person will define & utilize processes in order to ensure alignment between design, deployment and sustainability. This will include close liaison between business teams (needs) and IT teams (feature providers).

The principal areas of work will be in the following:

Digital Programs Development:

  • Customer-facing digital Apps. (e.g. Welcome, registration, & Badging App)
  • Team member facing digital apps (e.g. location tracking, room booking, facilities info)
  • Campus Communications Apps
  • Liaison person between external App dev teams, projects and business owners.

Content Management:

  • Content management and maintenance process for our digital collateral.
  • Define processes with teams to manage content and enforce accountability.
  • Liaise with Brand requirements & invoke appropriate process steps.

Digital Information Roadmap:

  • Eye on leading edge technologies to exploit for our Campus & Customer digital modes.
  • Drive strategy for future efforts to increase digital footprint.
  • Drive roadmaps.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline with min. 3 years post-graduation.
  • Strong Project Management skills & use of industry standard methodologies – PMI, Prince, etc.
  • A general working knowledge of Application development processes & tools.
  • Strategy/Future view thinking
  • Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal English.
  • Brand awareness & Business acumen (incl. Assets, processes, etc.).

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of Pivotal / Agile development Methodologies
  • Customer Service experience of any kind would be advantageous.
  • IT Skillsets (e.g. Angular, C# experience (Front end), MYSQL (Backend).
