The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Within the Global Offer and Product Operations organization, the candidate will provide hands on Product Modelling using SAP Solution Sales Configurator (SSC).  This is the latest best-of-breed configurator provided by SAP.  They will support the product modelling needs required by EMC to meet their operational, tactical and strategic objectives by providing the following services:

• Develops and maintains applications for business processes and systems
• Codes solutions in the SAP Sales Solution Configuration, a new Object Oriented Programming language, to a high level of testability, modularity and maintainability
• Develops Unit Test Plans to test programs and ensures that standards and policies are adhered to.
• Responsible for adherence to development best practices and standards
• Assist in the on-going support and continuous improvement of the implemented solutions
• Must have ability to effectively prioritize work assignments and work in a team environment.
• Must work under minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude and provide technical expertise in developing business solutions.

Essential Requirements

• Strong object-oriented development expertise, Java, C#, C++
• Good knowledge of Python
• Desire to learn and develop in SAP Sales Solution Configuration language
• Knowledge of SAP's technical infrastructure including table definitions, users exits, enhancements, and iDocs
• Problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Troubleshooting skills and strong technical aptitude
