Encashment Administrator in Dublin

Job description

Our Encashment team are part of the Claims Area in New Ireland Assurance. The team has 9 team members including a team leader. The Claims area has 70 staff members and 7 teams who look after our 500,000 policyholders when they reach the later stages of their policies. It is an area with lots of learning due to its technical nature and also has plenty of opportunities for progression and development within the department. There is a huge culture of team work and support not only within each team but across the entire department.

Our Encashment team process part and full encashments on New Ireland and Bank of Ireland suite of Life products. They also deal with email queries from internal and external customers (including Brokers, Broker Consultants, BOI Branches, Insurance & Investments Managers, New Ireland Direct Sales Force and Policyholders) in relation to progress of claims. We are looking for people who are hardworking, committed and flexible with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a busy team. Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering a consistent high level of service to direct customers and Sales colleagues
  • Processing high volumes of encashment transactions on our core systems BLISS and L400 whilst ensuring we remain compliant with relevant legislation such as Anti Money Laundering
  • Issuing Policy Endorsements reflecting the encashment transactions
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships in particular with colleagues in New & Existing Business and in the Phone Teams
  • Responding promptly to emails from internal colleagues and customers
  • Develop an in-depth understanding/knowledge of the New Ireland and Bank of Ireland Life Products
  • Ensure compliance standards are followed at all times
  • Participate in individual and team development activities/training to maximise both individual and team performance

Essential Qualifications

  • Third Level Degree
