The role

EF High School Exchange Year is looking for an entrepreneurial, independent and growth oriented leader to oversee our Irish operations team in Dublin. You will be responsible for the production, marketing and organization of the EF High School Year Exchange program in Ireland. You will manage a team supporting our students and host families based out of Dublin and from home offices throughout Ireland. You will operate in a truly international environment; liaising on a daily basis with our foreign offices, field staff, local schools, host families and our international students (aged 16-18).

Ideally you are an energetic and unafraid leader who enjoys ownership and is always looking for new ways to work and grow. You are hands on and have no problem rolling up your sleeves and getting things done to support your teams and help them reach their goals. You also have the ability to see the bigger picture and plan for the long term development of the program and your team. Finally you are a team player who develops your team members and makes sure to bring them on board with your plans, and work to develop them professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for P&L, results, teams, and growth strategies.
• Drive targets for the recruitment of host families in Ireland
• Drive local marketing and advertising initiatives in digital and off-line channels to recruit high quality host families throughout Ireland
• Analyze local market needs and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Ensure excellence in operations, customer service and support.
• Help recruit, develop and manage your team.
• Collaborate with central departments to implement initiatives on all levels.
• Participate in product development and run central projects for the whole program. 
• To communicate with EF offices around the world regarding operations and programme related issues

Requirements:

• Relevant University Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably in Operations, Sales and/or marketing.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Ireland and its culture
• Strong business acumen.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and great team spirit.
• Fluent in English (Gaelic a plus, but by no means required)
• Driver’s License a plus
