Product Document Management is key to deploying and managing product data for Dell products’ initial release and any engineering changes that follow. The team is also crucial to managing products and peripheral components though product release and the associated change activities post release. Put simply, they help to keep our game-changing products at their ground-breaking best. Along the way, the team works directly with diverse functions to help guide project management in the definition, design, building and shipping of systems configuration requirements.

As a Global Offer Master Data Senior Analyst you are required to deliver our operational efforts during this time of exciting transformation.   The role is to manage aspects of product data from inception to go live on Dell’s order management systems. This will involve cooperation and team work, utilizing problem solving skills and using your initiative to define the best and most efficient method of completing a task and sharing best practices across the global organization. 

Key Responsibilities

  • You will interface with various teams within Dell to identify technical, marketing and data requirements and apply them to product data within our internal and external facing systems including Dell.com.  Networking and building relationships with team members will be critical to your success.
  • Governing aspects of product data. You need to project manage and utilize the resources you have available to you to ensure quality and alignment with Dell’s strategic goals.
  • Proactively manage and coordinate product data updates/maintenance and issue resolution using global processes and tools.
  • Be open and engaged in implementing process improvements, think about global solutions and work with your counterparts to bring about their global organizational rollout.
  • Complete & Lead global project deployments by means of User Acceptance Testing (UAT),  Participate in at least 1 global project and at least 2 other initiatives per year that influence GOMD and Dell’s strategic objectives

Essential Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 2+ year’s relevant experience.  A 3rd level degree in a business, IT or engineering discipline
  • Highly motivated individual with strong communication, technical and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with a clear ability to work on own initiative but remain a flexible, enthusiastic team player for your group, department and Dell
  • Efficient and accurate in handling and manipulating data
  • Able to work flexible hours and/or weekends as occasionally required
  • Flexible, adaptable and an active team player
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, comfortable communicating to senior management.

Desirable Requirements

  • Understanding of product configuration/validation principles an advantage
  • PMP or equivalent project management methodology certification would be an advantage.
  • Ability to assimilate high volumes of technical information and draw inferences
  • Project experience and has strong influencing skills.
