Monitoring Operator in Ardmayle

A CCTV/Alarm Monitoring Operator oversees security systems, monitors video feeds, responds to alarms, coordinates with security, maintains logs, and ensures equipment works.

16 - 40 hours per week
Between €12.80 and €13.80 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

  • Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Constantly observing live and recorded video feeds from CCTV cameras to identify and report any suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or security breaches.

  • Responding to Alarms and activations: Receiving and assessing alarm signals from various security systems, determining the nature and urgency of the situation, and taking appropriate actions, such as notifying security personnel or emergency services.

  • Documenting and reporting all observed incidents, activities, and security breaches accurately and promptly, maintaining detailed logs and records for future reference and investigation.

  • Ensuring all surveillance and alarm systems are functioning correctly, performing routine checks, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades.

  • Managing and monitoring access control systems, verifying identities, and granting or denying access to secure areas based on established protocols.

  • Providing assistance and support to employees, visitors, and clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
