Job description

This role is in the Retail Payments team within Treasury and Corporate Services (TCS). It is a role that is full time office based, in a Dublin City Centre location.

The teams within Retail Payments are responsible for the monitoring and processing of Inward and Outward Payments for Retail Customers and also queries on payments from other Business Divisions, Foreign Banks and Customers. The Payments Teams work to strict cut offs to ensure the completion of all payments ensuring no negative impact to our customers or other business areas.

We are currently looking to recruit a 12 month fixed term contract for a vacancy on our Inward Payments Team.

Purpose of the Role

The team is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the accurate settlement of inward payments. All exceptions must be actioned in a speedy manner to ensure customer receives funds within cut offs.

All inward payment queries are handled within the team, and they act as liaisons internally and externally throughout the group. Queries are received into the team from other Business Divisions and direct from customers.

Key Accountabilities
  • Accurate input of Payment instructions
  • Monitoring of Payment Queues
  • Working closely with Key partners ensuring an excellent level of customer service is provided
  • Ensure timely resolution of queries
  • Adherence to Operational and Key controls
  • Identify and drive improvement within current processes.
  • Preparation of Monthly MIS
  • Escalation of payment issues and unreconciled items
