In this Technical Track of the VA we focus on developing the future stars of our Technical Services organization.

As a member of the VMware Systems Engineering team you will help customers to transform their businesses with industry-leading VMware solutions. This team is involved in all technical aspects of customer engagement:

• The initial introduction of new technology concepts and ideas to our customers
• Presenting and demonstrating transformative VMware technologies
• Helping customers to design solutions that meet their biggest business challenges.

Through close collaboration with sales and professional services, a Systems Engineer builds long term customer relationships, ensuring success in their adoption of VMware Solutions.

After successfully completing your training and assessments, you will progress to a Systems Engineer role, where you will actively contribute to success of the business, working closely with your European colleagues.

We are forming a team of special graduates to create the next generation of Systems Engineers in VMware. Graduates will initially be based at our offices in Cork, Ireland for 18 – 36 months, during which you will first undergo the structured training program detailed above and then join the Cork based presales team who work with customers throughout Europe.

After this time, we expect graduates to relocate back to their home countries for roles in the Systems Engineering field teams, at the forefront of VMware’s Technical Sales Organization.

• Enthusiastic communication manner, excellent listening, interpersonal and writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required - Computer Science, MIS/BIS, Engineering or Science preferred.
• IT experience or software development abilities beneficial
• Fluency in English essential.
• An openness to relocating for a role in your home country or further afield
