Our Sales Operations team is at the heart of developing sales processes and procedures for administering, fulfilling and communicating both online and offline orders. A bridge between sales and other operational functions, we use our peerless expertise to evaluate and implement improvements to sales programs and processes – from planning and prioritization to pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, reporting and more. Put simply, we make sure the process of getting our ground-breaking products and services to customers as simple and seamless as possible.
Key Responsibilities

  • Supports & manages a partner centric team capable of providing world class operational support to our Channel Partners.
  • Liaise & builds relationships with key business functions across North America, EMEA, APJ & Greater China, such as Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Business Operations & Marketing to ensure smooth operational execution to ensure best in industry partner experience.
  • Works with Partners to ensure that all system enhancement requests are represented as a global level feeding IT Demand.
  • Ensures that process changes/implementations that affect the partner business are carefully assessed & rolled out in a controlled way.
  • Provides advice to Channel teams & Partners related to cross border selling form a contractual & system perspective.
  • Negotiate and resolve conflicts in the best interest of Dell EMC & our Partners.
  • Review and approve standard operating procedures for all team functions.
  • Facilitates onsite partner trips to Ireland Centre of Excellence via the Executive Briefing Centre (EBC).
  • Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and end-to-end operational objectives of the group.
  • Manages the hiring, staffing, training, and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
  • Focuses on influencing and delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell standards and vision.
  • Provide guidance and strategy on customer or order problems, and deliver solutions.
  • Communicates regularly and effectively with leadership and team.
  • Manages to business level metrics. 


Essential Requirements

  • Self-awareness/Interpersonal: Exhibits superb communication skills and Emotional Intelligence when engaging with others.   Demonstrates expertise in leveraging appropriate communication strategies for a variety of situations.
  • Relationship Management (Team/Stakeholders): Demonstrates excellence in managing strategic, business customer, stakeholder, and team relationships.  Ability to create an inclusive, collaborate team environmental where team members are constantly challenged to reach their potential underpinned by their managers support.
  • Consulting/Business Partnering: Manages the key stockholders in the areas of contracting, objection handling, decision making, problem solving, and following up with stakeholder. 
  • Cross-Functional Teaming: Ability to lead a cross-functional team and operate effectively in a matrix environment.  Supports and fosters cross functional knowledge and fosters teamwork.
  • Business Acumen/Analysis: Understands an indirect sales model; Ability to decipher and internalize partner priorities; Understands and interprets the meaning of key business analysis metrics.  Consistently leverages data to collect insights and convey a relevant story for both the field and the partner.
