Are you a brilliant problem solver who could provide front-line support for a game-changing, enterprise-wide support service? Do you want to be a hero to Dell’s customers by resolving their account issues? Within Dell Services, we are looking for an Account Services representative to join our remote team in Ovens, Cork, as well as providing telephone, chat and email assistance to our EMEA customers as part of the Dell Global Service Desk.

Schedule & Dispatch Responsibilities

  • Working with a shared inbox to manage customer communications as well as service requests through a ticketing system.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working across multiple regions and able to adapt quickly in order to achieve goals across specific activities.
  • In the absence of a documented process, apply sound logic to a case to ensure its resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with local field engineers, order parts, dispatch tickets within the agreed SLA’s for break/fix activities.
  • Offer customer CRU when possible whilst handling high ticket volume, low touch handling
  • Be able multitask, using, multiple tools, chat, email and phone.
  • Available to work monthly and quarterly rotating 24/7 shift

Account Services Requirements

  • Creative, outside the box thinker. Able to solve problems without constant supervision.
  • Manage own workload, following up on cases when required and being responsible for the timely completion of assignments and work.
  • Approaches complex problems or tasks by breaking them down into their component parts and considering each in detail.
  • Takes responsibility for actions and outcomes, delivers on commitments, makes ethical decisions.
  • Works well as part of a team to achieve common goals, while also being able to effectively work on own initiative.
  • Great communicator, face to face, on the phone and via email and chat.
  • Able to handle a high volume of work and frequent changes in direction with ease.
  • Be quick and eager to learn, organised, and keep up to date with new procedures and processes.
  • Monday to Friday standard business hours (subject to change should the business require it)

Desirable Requirements

  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • General awareness of Dell EMC’s portfolio of enterprise storage products and services
  • Ability to identify gaps and improvement opportunities and bring concise, achievable resolutions to your management team.
