We lead the planning and implementation of high-value, quality human resources programs, practices and procedures for people at all levels. We’re also trusted to advise company leaders on HR policy and programs, recommending decisions in line with the company’s strategic direction.

Role Overview:

Responsible for development, implementation, administration and operation of high-value quality human resources programs, practices and procedures to all levels of team members. Assists in the integration of complex business factors to build business capability, develop leaders and succession plan, and drive business change efforts. Administers programs designed to establish and maintain effective team member relations through the uniform and equitable application of policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR leadership/partnership with the site leadership team ensuring strong employment brand, team member engagement and local execution of Dell’s Culture Code. 
  • Responsible for the execution of Dell’s HR strategy and agenda at the site level; foster an engaging workplace through a “Great place to work” strategy for your site.
  • Ensure full compliance of the regional people/HR agenda with Dell’s code of conduct, as well as local country laws, practices and regulations.
  • Foster relationships and provide appropriate HR representation with external stakeholder’s groups such as Government bodies, agencies and local communities; serves as primary HR consultant for non-executive managers, providing advice and counsel on core HR programs/processes.
  • Develops, implements and administers company programs; analyses business challenges and HR programs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Workforce Transitions – responsible for leading workforce transitions and reductions. Ensuring compliance for team member terminations and providing consultation for individual separation/settlement agreements where necessary.
  • Work in partnership with HR Operations in support of the local execution activities related to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Includes local execution and program management of harmonization and integration activities, implementation of TSAs, and successful transition of team members within the region.     

Knowledge / Skills / Capability:
  • Creates a collaborative environment through inspirational leadership and optimism; able to make timely decisions and exhibit sound/accurate judgment using facts and external/internal factors
  • Able to work across a matrix environment and leverage others to get things done
  • Effective at building relationships across site leadership team, HR function and broader Company and comfortable working with minimal guidance and direction
  • Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise; manages projects and program execution
  • Strong internal consulting and coaching skills.
  • 6 - 8 years HR experience
  • Familiar with a variety of HR functions, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment in leading the site.
