Our people drive our business and our Human Resources (HR) department is responsible for defining and driving every aspect of our people strategy and priorities, in partnership with the business. The Opportunity

During the HR Graduate Programme, you will get the opportunity to work on a number of different teams (mostly based in Dublin, with some opportunities for rotations in the UK), giving you a broad range of experiences in several areas of HR.

While on one of our HR Business Partner Teams, you will work closely with our experienced HR Business Partners in a particular business area, and get an understanding of how HR partners with a business to drive and deliver on their people priorities.

You will also have the opportunity to work on one of our HR Specialist teams, working with experienced HR professionals in Leadership & Talent Development, Resourcing, Employee Relations, Performance & Reward Management, and Learning & Engagement. As well as this, you could be working alongside our HR Project Managers who deliver major HR change programmes across the whole of Bank of Ireland Group.

What you can expect in return

During your two years on the Programme, you will gain insight into the challenges and opportunities facing our businesses and our people. You will have real responsibility and will play a key role on strategic projects and initiatives. You will work with and learn from great people and develop your technical expertise in HR.
