Job Description Summary:
The Global Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GGRC) Testing Team is seeking a Compliance Testing Associate to support the GGRC Testing Program within the Second Line of Defense (SLOD). This position will be primarily responsible for executing testing engagements for the PayPal Testing team in EMEA. This Testing Associate will serve as a risk specialist and will partner with Subject Matter Experts, Compliance Officers, and other risk management teams to execute SLOD testing in an effective, efficient, and timely manner. This role requires a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple competing priorities with difficult deadlines.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a SLOD Point of Contact for PayPal testing in EMEA.
  • Develop SLOD testing scopes.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining regular reporting for SLOD PayPal Credit testing.
  • Ensure testing results are disseminated to the appropriate decision makers in a timely manner.
  • Support the team leadership in the management and execution of the Testing Program.
  • Handle both proactive and reactive needs arising from additional oversight and manage corresponding take away items.
  • Must have a strong understanding of related regulatory requirements and testing design, project management and execution.

    Proficiencies:

  • Advanced analytical, cross-referencing and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Skill in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, and clarifying next steps.
  • Ability to analyze risks in complex business processes, and recommend controls to mitigate those risks.
  • Thrives working in a fast paced environment while maintaining composure and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate across levels, organizing and motivating others, including those who are in more senior positions.
  • Must display a high level of attention to detail, professional judgment, commitment, integrity, teamwork, and customer service.
  • Strong understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory framework.

    Knowledge of English mandatory, German is considered a plus.



    Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience with regulatory compliance, audit, and/or compliance testing

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • A compliance qualification is desirable.
