Senior Software Engineer - Robotics

Digital Operations is responsible for managing and developing on the technical operations infrastructure which supports both manual and robotic banking operations processing for Bank of Ireland Group.

This infrastructure is built on a number of core components - Blue Prism RPA, SQL Server, HCL Toscana Workflow (T1 & T2), C #Data Bridge code, Amazon Web Services, EngageHub SMS platform and Tableau analytics.

The opportunity:

A small technical team within the Digital Operations function supports and develops the data bridge C# components and manages and develops the SQL Server databases. This team also has responsibility with delivering the next wave of innovation within Digital Operations looking at Machine learning & AI tools available in the market and how these technologies could be utilised.

Location: This role is based in Cabinteely, Dublin 18

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, building and maintain data `bridges` which take data from various front end challenges and standardise into consumable XML data formats.
• Designing, building and maintain data `extractors which take data from primarily email, XML and other sources and extract customer request data for processing.
• Develop and manage a variety of SSIS jobs which are components of the digital operations run infrastructure.
• Administrator the MS SQL Servers which underpin the Dig Ops infrastructure
• Training in RPA development using Blue Prism will also be provided over time.

• Third Level Degree
