Personal Assistant for wheelchair user living independently in the community.
Personal Assistant required for female wheelchair user in Cork city. Duties include personal care, cooking, light housework, accompaniment on errands and social outings and general assistance with daily living tasks.
Ideal candidate should be friendly, respectful and have a good understanding of independent living. A QQI 5 qualification in Healthcare or similar field is highly desirable along with experience in Patient Moving and Handling.
Working hours are at least 4.5 hours per week, mainly in the afternoon but this may vary. The role will also require a certain level of flexibility.
All candidates must complete an interview and provide at least two written professional references along with a written CV. In addition, Garda Vetting will be mandatory for anybody who is successful.
